Bodies blend into the landscapes or the sea. The Mediterranean is never far away. That of Lebanon, the country of Christine Safa’s parents. The land of holidays and childhood too. This 28-year-old Franco-Lebanese artist has her first personal exhibition at the Galerie Lelong in Paris. “The dream form of a seen form” is the poetic title, like his figurative paintings where color is matter.
