Since the first Halloween – The Night of Horrors, the Halloween series lives on its killer character Michael Myers. Halloween Ends should bring a memorable end to the cinema franchise in 2022. Halloween Ends completely changes the horror of Michael Myers
As in most of its predecessors, Halloween Ends sees the small town of Haddonfield threatened by its most famous ex-resident, Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney). After the bloody finale of Halloween Kills however, the brutal killer languishes in the sewers. There he manages to transfer his evil nature to a random visitor, young Corey (Rohan Campbell).
Some fans didn’t like the change at all. Some rejected the idea of evil as an epidemic, others felt the killer replacement was a scam. The other side, on the other hand, praised the courage to come up with new ideas, which ended the series with dignity. The disunity of the fans can be understood, among other things, in the IMDb ratings.
Whether Halloween Ends is an appropriate ending is for each viewer to decide for themselves. After all, the maker of the horror finale has an explanation ready for his decision.
