Something detonated in a gate to an apartment building in the Väsbyskogen area in Upplands Väsby north of Stockholm, on the night of Friday.
– No one is injured. The gate is broken, there does not appear to be any major other damage to the property, says police spokesperson Mats Eriksson.
The police were alerted by several people who heard a loud bang just after 00:30.
– Many people have woken up to this, says Eriksson.
No one has been arrested. The incident is classified as a public hazard devastation.
Police are speaking to witnesses and will conduct a crime scene investigation.
