(Finance) – Snam is interested in Edison’s storage assets. He confirms itCEO, Stefano Venier in call with analysts on first quarter results.
“I confirm that the company is interested in understanding how the Edison gas storage situation will evolve. As I have already said, we are ready to discuss with Edison as soon as Edison defines how to proceed with this possible disposal”.
As for Adriatic Lngthe Rovigo offshore regasification terminal, Venier explained: “you know that we are shareholders and we are following the process that the other two shareholders Exxon Mobil and Qatar Terminal have just launched and we have an agreement with the two shareholders on how and under what circumstances we can increase our stake in this asset. This acquisition can be fully or partially financed with asset rotation. I think our assessment will not be limited to these companies and I want to reiterate again that we exclude the disposal of the stake in Italgas”.
