Drove a dog to death – left the scene

A dog died after being hit at a pedestrian crossing in central Malmö on Monday. The driver of the car fled the scene and is now suspected of the crimes of leaving the scene of a traffic accident and vandalism.

— We have very good information on the infected car. We continue to work on it, says Skåne police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.

The person walking the dog was not injured in the incident. According to the police, it was a small dog.

The driver had not yet been found at 10 p.m.
