In recent interviews surrounding Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the stars have talked a lot about the making of the Marvel blockbuster. There is also one as well whimsical and charming detail around Groot spokesman Vin Diesel has come to light. The actor wanted to save director James Gunn with the Guardians cast because he had mixed up his cell phone number.
Vin Diesel mistakenly thought James Gunn was in danger
As CBR reports, in an Entertainment Weekly interview with his Guardians 3 colleagues Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff, Chris Pratt revealed a quirky and charismatic Vin Diesel action from the holiday season.
It has now become a tradition for Diesel to send emotional videos with his family to his loved ones during the contemplative season. He also sent a recording to James Gunn, but he meanwhile changed his mobile number had.
Diesel then got an emotional response from Las Vegas from a person who suicidal tendencies had. The MCU star mistook the sender for the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 director and wanted to rescue him from the drastic situation in Vegas with the rest of the Marvel cast.
