(Finance) – The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) communicated that in January-March period 2023 le ascertained tax revenues based on the accrual basis, they amount to 113,169 million euros (+1,430 million euros), +1.3% compared to the same period of 2022.
In particular, in the months of January-March le direct taxes recorded a decrease in revenue of 339 million euros (-0.5%), while indirect taxes recorded an increase of 1,769 million euros (+3.7%).
About the March only 2023, le tax revenue amounted to 35,008 million euros (+1,185 million euros, +3.5% compared to the same month of 2022).
The direct taxes showed an increase in revenue of 1,207 million euro (+8.1%) while indirect taxes showed a negative trend of 22 million euro (-0.1%).
