Stay away from the huge selection

A 30-tonne whale has washed up on a beach in the UK.
Tourists have flocked to the site to take selfies – forcing the beach to close.
The authorities are clear: Stay away – for reasons of health and respect.

It was on Tuesday that the huge fish was suddenly lying there on the beach in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. BBC writes that scores of curious people made their way to the scene, many to take selfies by the massive corpse.

At the moment, it is unclear why the animal has died and an autopsy will be carried out.

The authorities are trying to move the election without breaking it up, something that has become difficult with so many people revolving around it.

“Very challenging”

Now people are being asked to stay away, for several reasons, writes the BBC, and refers to a statement for the city council:

“There will be a cordon and we are asking people to stay away from the polls for health reasons, to help us deal with the situation, and also out of respect.”

“This is a very challenging operation and the largest of its kind that we have had to deal with. The body has moved slightly more towards the water during the night because of the tide.”
