(Finance) – Industrial production increased in Spain in March.
According to theNational Statistics Office (INE), production rose 4.5% year-on-year, compared to +0.1% the previous month (revised from a preliminary figure of -0.4%). Analyst estimates were for a drop of 0.1%.
The data is adjusted for seasonality and calendar effectswhile the raw index marks a +5.3%.
In addition, one registered monthly climb by 1.5% after the +0.7% of the previous month.
