She had to leave Robinson already on day one.
But after many long days in Gränslandet, she finally manages to get all the way back to where the adventure started.
– I didn’t dare believe it was true, she now tells TV4.
Elin Ambrosiani had to leave Robinson already on day one when she was sent off by a teammate. But shame on the one who surrenders. After being one of the participants who started this year’s season of Gränslandet, she has now finally managed to secure a place in Robinson.
– Oh, how do you describe that feeling? It was of course completely magical, completely amazing and completely overwhelming. I didn’t dare believe it was true, at first I just stood there staring at Amanda. It was one of the coolest minutes of my life, says Elin to TV4.
“Thet was like I knew”
It is in a duel against Amanda Eliasson that Elin becomes the lucky winner, after Amanda more or less gave up to let Elin get the place in Robinson.
– The first thing I think is, wow Amanda, how nice you can be. The greatness of what she has done, that she risks not coming back to my advantage. It is very difficult for someone who has not been there to understand how big it actually is!
And even though she spent so many days in Gränslandet, she never gave up hope of a place in Robinson.
– The strange thing is that it was as if I knew, I had a complete attitude that I was going back. The target image was there all along, says Elin.
Didn’t get to know the participants before she had to leave
But a place in Robinson also meant a lot of challenges because she never got to know the participants before she had to leave.
– I understood immediately that I would have a social disadvantage. I didn’t know anyone and can’t trick myself into a pact. The only thing I have is that I’m a pretty nice dot. The goal was to keep me nice and happy, not to be deceived but to be me, says Elin.
When you look at your participation in retrospect – do you wish it had been different?
– With hindsight, I wish nothing different. It just feels super cool with a different trip. But if someone had asked me before, I would never have guessed that it would turn out like this.
