IN Secrets of the Elite Force the recruits carry out a maximum test that will test their physical ability.
But even their character is tested when the instructors surreptitiously monitor them.
They then see a suspected cheating and put the designated Sebastian Martinsson against the wall.
– I was ashamed, he says now to TV4.
Sebastian Martinsson is one of the recruits we see in this year’s season Secrets of the Elite Force and in Thursday’s episode, he does something that causes the instructors to act. The recruits must complete a max test that tests their physical ability, but also their character as the instructors surreptitiously monitor them.
When they see that Sebastian is doing 25 burpees instead of the set number of 30, they suspect him of cheating and he is called in.
– Do you have something you want to tell us?
“The last thing I want is to be labeled as some kind of cheater”
When TV4 reaches Sebastian, he remembers the incident, at first he didn’t understand at all that it was him who they suspected during the interrogation of being the one who cheated.
– You have a sick respect for them, which is why I probably look a little nervous. When they stare into one’s eyes, they stare into one’s soul. Then you get a little shaky, he says and explains:
– It was absolutely not done deliberately, just as I told them, I was ashamed. I always want to do the right thing for me – to be the best I can be. The last thing I want is to be labeled as some kind of cheater and I said you can give me a punishment if that’s the case, to somehow make amends.
What kind of consequence he wasn’t particularly afraid of, but the fear of risking going out was all the greater.
– I had a thought that ‘okay if I’ve made a mistake and now they want to send me out’, but it felt very boring. I was completely honest with everything I said, that I didn’t want to cheat in any way. And of course you don’t want to go out. You want to go out for completely different reasons than that, says Sebastian.
