A woman has been found dead in a home in Löddeköpinge, Scania.
The police suspect murder.
– It was a relative who came there and found her, says Peter Adlersson, police spokesperson.
It was around 3.30pm today that the police were alerted to an address in Löddeköpinge in Kävlinge municipality. Ambulance personnel were already on the scene after reports of a cardiac arrest and then suspected a crime.
The police have cordoned off the home and started a preliminary investigation into murder.
– There is nothing that directly points to it being a crime, but we cannot rule it out either, says Peter Adlersson.
Initiated investigation
At present, there are no suspects or detainees. The police also have nothing to say about the cause of death.
– We have just started a forensic investigation. We’ll see if it can bring clarity to the case, says Peter Adlersson.
TV4 Nyheternas reporter Mikael Nilsson is on site in Löddeköpinge and states that the police are there with several patrols and are currently knocking on doors in the area waiting for the coroner.
