As reported by Inverse, there was a pretty much in the script wicked sex scene between Peter Parker and Mary Jane (MJ) on New York’s Brooklyn Bridge, where the mating rituals of different species of spiders are discussed. You can find an unverified version at Script-O-Rama.
consequently a lovesick Peter MJ ties to the walls with cobwebs the Brooklyn Bridge. At the same time, he lectures smugly about a species of crab spider called Xysticus, whose males fix the legs of the females willing to mate with silk threads before the sexual act takes place. Leonardo DiCaprio’s Spider-Man should get wet dream
It wasn’t the only racy scene in the script, according to screenwriter David Koepp speaking to Variety. At another point Peter has a wet dream and wakes up in a bed covered in cobwebs.
Cameron’s Spider-Man didn’t materialize in the end, partly because of a complicated legal situation. Many Spidey fans would have loved to see the film.
