Eline (12) plays the violin at the National Children’s Remembrance Day on May 4 and talks about her great-grandfather

Eline 12 plays the violin at the National Childrens Remembrance

Eline will tell this story to thousands of children from 8 to 14 years old. Not only Eline, other children also come to make music, dance or tell their story. They reflect on (contemporary) wars and the fact that they can live in freedom here in the Netherlands. The theme of the National Children’s Remembrance Day is therefore: ‘not their war, but their freedom’. More than 6,000 children follow the program on site and the live stream makes it possible for families to follow the National Children’s Memorial at home.
