In October last year, the man in his 70s came into contact with a woman who offered him sexual services for payment.
After arranging a meeting, the man followed the woman to an apartment with an amount of SEK 1,500.
However, the woman disappeared from the room as soon as she received the money.
Instead, three or four men entered the room and claimed that the older man had tried to buy sexual services from a girl who they claim is 17 years old, says Emil Häger, station commander at the police to the newspaper.
According to the police report, the man must have been forced to pay at least SEK 27,000 until the end of April this year.
There is still no suspect in the case, which is classified as extortion.
