Murdered on date – revealed by woman
Erick Aguirre, 29, was on a date with a woman at a restaurant in Houston, Texas, on April 11. He had just paid $40 to a 46-year-old man who parked his car. He then learned from the restaurant staff that the 46-year-old was a known fraudster.
Erick Aguirre retrieved his gun, shot the man in the back and returned to his date. According to NBC he told the woman that he had “just scared” the 46-year-old.
But the man died. When the woman saw surveillance footage of herself and Erick Aguirre two days later, she went to the police.
– She wanted to do the right thing, says her lawyer Rick DeToto.

Another hospital – accident on E20
One person was taken to hospital after an accident on the E20 near Laxå at 11pm on Friday evening.
The car crashed into the guardrail and the driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Man dead – found in the water

An A-tractor has collided with a passenger car and three people are said to be involved, but it is unknown if anyone was injured.
Fire in explosive carpets
The emergency services were alerted on Friday evening about burning explosive carpets in Kungsbacka municipality, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
– They were going to build on the site, so that’s why they had the explosive carpets, says Lars Larsson, alarm operator at the Greater Gothenburg rescue service.
The explosive mats were made of rubber, and created heavy smoke.

Putin’s new law – easier to revoke citizenship

On Friday, Putin signed a law that makes it easier for Russia to strip people of their Russian citizenship, write Sky News.
However, it only affects people who were not born with Russian citizenship, but received it later in life.
They can lose their citizenship if they “threaten national security”.
Threats include, among other things, “incitement to actions against Russia’s territorial integrity, intrusion into the lives of statesmen and organizing an armed rebellion”.
According to the Russian news agency RIA, Putin also signed a law increasing the penalty for high treason to life imprisonment. Previously, the penalty was up to 20 years in prison.

5,750 people’s asylum applications were granted by Sweden in 2022, reports The European portal with reference to figures from Eurostat.

The death toll has risen to 25 after a Russian robot hit an apartment building in the Ukrainian city of Uman, south of Kiev.
BBC News reports.
A fire broke out in connection with the attack early Thursday morning.
When the robot crashed, 58-year-old Serhiy Lubivskyj was in the building.
– All my neighbors are gone, no one is left. Only the kitchens are left, he tells Sky news.
