The current version 3.6 in Genshin Impact enters the 2nd phase and the new characters Baizhu and Kaveh will receive their banners on Tuesday. Here you will find an overview of all important information.

As of April 12, 2023, Genshin Impact is running version 3.6. At the start there were rerun banners from Nahida and Nilou. But soon it will be halftime and the event banners will change to phase 2.

Starting next Tuesday, May 2, 2023, players will be able to get their hands on the version’s new characters with Doctor Baizhu and Architect Kaveh. Here you will find all important information about the new banners.

When is the release date of Baizhu and Kaveh? The two new characters will be available via the in-game event banners on May 2nd, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. These will remain online until May 23, 3:59 p.m.

  • Vibrant Life event banner featuring Baizhu as a 5-star character; Kaveh, Candace and Fischl as 4-star characters
  • Event Banner “Fleeting Acquaintance” featuring Ganyu as a 5-star character; Kaveh, Candace and Fischl as 4-star characters
  • Weapons banner “Divine Work” with “Catalyst – Jadefall Splendor” and “Bow – Amos’ Bow” as 5-star weapons, several limited 4-star weapons

    • Who are the newest characters? Baizhu is the owner of Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue. He is a dendro character who fights with a catalyst. He is a support character who can heal and protect his teammates.

    Kaveh is a Sumerian Architect who also belongs to the Dendro element. He uses a two-handed sword. Kaveh fights offensively and deals AoE damage with Mehrak, his trunk.

    A little hint: An online event for the new character Baizhu is also currently running with “Herbal Remedies”, where you can secure veterans and character advancement material. You can participate from April 27, 2023 to May 03, 2023.
