As reported by Comicbook.com, among others, from the CinemaCon cinema fair in Las Vegas, the Paramount production studio has now officially revealed work on a sequel. Details on the plot, cast or start date are not yet available.
Director Parker Finn could possibly return as the man in charge. He recently signed a deal with Paramount for future productions, according to the Hollywood Reporter. In terms of story, there are several possibilities for a sequel. For example, Smile 2 could directly to the gloomy end of the first part.
When will Smile 2 be in cinemas?
There is no official launch date for Smile 2 yet. In view of the early stage of production, we do not calculate end of 2024 with a start. It can be assumed that the sequel will also be shown in cinemas.
