Mondo announces that he will compete in the classic Finnkampen in 2023. Duplantis has missed the competition between Sweden and Finland three years in a row, but this year that will change.
“I’m really looking forward to Finnkampen, to join and fight for a Swedish victory at home,” says the world star in a press release.

This year’s Finnkampen will be decided at Stockholm’s stadium on the weekend of September 2-3, just one week after the pole vault final in the WC. The national team captain Kajsa Bergqvist is now extra proud to bring Armand Duplantis into the squad for Finnkampen.
