The chaos started at the Peking Garden, the central park in Baarn, where performances by Thomas Berge and Dave Roelvink, among others, had just taken place. Dozens of drunken youths, some of them from Soest, came to blows and threw crush barriers on the street. They were also guilty of insult and committed destruction in the area. All kinds of clicks were kicked over.
