Monoprix is committed to a more sustainable fashion offer by opening, from March 23, spaces dedicated to second-hand goods in several of its stores.
Monoprix takes a further step towards more responsible fashion. The brand had already marked the coup by collaborating with the private sales site Veepee last May in order to move towards a more ethical and sustainable mode of consumption. She had then imagined an action named “Recycle” which aimed to give a second life to the brand’s clothing. This time, Monoprix is back with a new project: open spaces dedicated to second-hand in some of its stores. An initiative that Monoprix designs in partnership with specialist fashion brands in the sector such as between hands for a vintage selection of luxury brands, Ready-to-change for nuggets at reduced prices or even Once Upon a Time, a company with a mission that collects Monoprix coins “Kids” and “Bout’chou” having already had a life. These items, whose prices are on average between 45 and 71 euros, can be found in 58 Monoprix stores in France.
Monoprix, towards committed fashion
Since 2003, the brand has been committed to supporting women, men and the environment. This involvement has been confirmed over the years thanks to the various actions implemented by the brand. Monoprix, for example, today markets many items made from organic cotton and is at the initiative of responsible collaborations. We remember, for example, his September 2021 capsule with the artist Iris de Mouy. A collection made with the social enterprise Creative Handicrafts, which aims to financially help women in India.
