Sports expert Jonne Kunnas makes defender Elli Pikkujämsä a success in the French tournament.
The French high-level tournament served as an excellent preparation for Helmar’s summer high-level European Championship, as Finland faced opponents from the top of the world. The helmsmen lost in the Tournoi de France in the first two matches to France and the Netherlands with a total of 0-8 goals, but were knocked out and tied for a draw in the final against Brazil.
The draw against the seventh best national team in the world will be given by Sport’s expert Jonne Kunnas according to the players self-confidence towards the summer European Championships.
– It was even more important that Finland was able to trust its own strengths and succeed in them. Hopefully it will give a boost to the players and believe that it is possible to make a profit at the European Championships as well, Kunnas comments.
According to the municipality, almost nothing was left in the first two matches.
– In the first two matches, Finland was literally weak. It lacked all the strengths that made it possible for Helmar to enter the Games. There was little return to the match in the Brazil match, but there are big question marks against the top countries regarding their own offensive play.
Finland never succeeded in scoring in the tournament. Against France, the team scored one shot per goal, not even in a Dutch match. In the Brazil match, Finland returned to its familiar, safe opening lineup and tripled its statistics.
Nevertheless, the opponent’s net remained intact.
– You have to worry, that’s a clear thing. It is difficult for me to see how Finland scores against the top countries. I would have liked to have seen a clearer recurrence and model of how to proceed after the exploitation and which premises to attack, Kunnas begins.
– I think the most important thing in the next four months is to confirm that the defense plan is working and will lead to effective exploitation. Clear models of how to attack quickly and try to get a goal are needed. Slower, organized attacks have been fetched for longer.
According to the municipality, Finland’s attacks are now often short.
– Finland should be able to move the ball in the width and depth direction and get the opponent moved and then move on. Can go straight from the back, but not every time. One should recognize what has been accomplished, how opponents have been moved. I do not mean that Finland should base its play on short passing or ball control, but it would also help the next steps when it could have little control over anyone by improving the structure.
The helmsmen’s balance from the previous five matches is four losses and one draw. During them, Finland has succeeded in scoring twice: Sweden’s all-time goalie was hit Linda Sällström and the Irish network in turn Adelina Engman.
But who would be the winner in the European Championships?
– Good question. Linda is definitely an edible tooth you trust. I think he can score goals, he has shown it many times. Next I would raise Sanni Franssin, who has rotten power in the Spanish league at a good pace, although the national team has so far become fewer. Both would also be suitable for quick counterattacks.
If the attacking game was a concern, the goalkeeper game in the two opening matches was not convincing either. Tinja-Riikka Korpela however, Brazil took a couple of sweet fights and kept their goals intact.
The municipality believed that the Tottenham goalkeeper would also hold his place in the summer European Championships.
– I believe that Korpela will be important to Finland at the European Championships in the summer and, as an experienced player, will be able to make a good stroke. Finland will start in the block games as an underdog, and it will demand a top game from the goalkeeper. No bypass or bypass can occur.
A few successful ones
Against France in particular, differences in levels were evident on the ground. Many players who delighted in the summer 2019 World Cup played in the ranks of France, and Helmarit got to admire, among other things, the Lyon topper Wendie Renardin butts at close range.
According to the municipality, Finland was among the top in the tournament, especially in terms of team tactics.
– This is a bit of a double-barreled thing. Of course, the physical and technical characteristics of the individual matter, but it is often too easy an explanation. Finnish players could be faster, more skilled and stronger in dueling, but this is the situation now. Here are the best players in Finland.
– No compensation can be given for team tactics. It should be an advantage to be created. Based on this tournament, it was given too much handicap, the Municipal line.
The tournament also saw players with less responsibility. Usually head coach Anna Signeul has hardly made any changes to its credit line – up, but many less players have taken responsibility against France and the Netherlands.
– It’s good to see more players. I think it will be a challenging situation for players if the display space becomes such that many players are switched from the opening. It brings new challenges to the rhythm and to find a common, easier tone with the changing players than if he had retained the body and changed a few players at a time, Kunnas said, referring to the Dutch game in particular.
According to Kunnas, the best places to use the screen were in the tournament Elli Pikkujämsä and Iina Salmi.
– It is difficult to lift the winners from the Dutch game, but I would say that Iina Salmi is able to bring something to the ball game that is good to think about in the summer. He has played just fine in Spain, Kunnas started.
– Elli Pikkujämsä has played a little more, but the Brazil game showed that he will have a big responsibility in the future.
In addition, the municipality mentions Eva Nyströmalthough the Hammarby defender did not stretch his best in France.
– He is an interesting name in any role, as a topper or wing defender.
The helmsman’s games will continue in the World Cup qualifiers against Slovakia and Georgia in April. shows the games on its channels.
