It was on Monday that around 15 motorists were stopped at the traffic control and had to receive a fine, when they were driving with studded tyres. It is illegal to drive with studded tires after April 15 – unless there are winter road conditions, which Monica absolutely believes there was. – They had said there would be a blizzard and I said that too, she says. However, other motorists with winter tires were allowed to drive on. – I stood there in the parking lot for probably 20, 25 minutes before the police came back, when he made that fine. And I heard how many people drove with studded tires, then I was pissed. The police poodle Monica is very disappointed by what happened. – It feels absolutely nothing further that they make a difference to us. Now the police are backing away from the decision to fine Monica and the other motorists.
