Black Mirror has been on Netflix since 2016. The stirring anthology series tells its own self-contained sci-fi story in each episode. It often becomes extremely uncomfortable mind games played through what our world and society could look like in the future. Now Netflix is preparing the start of Season 6.
The new episodes of Black Mirror will arrive on Netflix in June. After four years of waiting for Season 6, things are moving really fast now. Charlie Brooker, the creative mind behind the series, promises an exciting season that will capture some of the… breaking familiar Black Mirror rules should.

Partly as a challenge, partly to keep things fresh for both myself and the viewer, I’ve started this season by establishing some ground rules of my own consciously turning it upside down.

Black Mirror has always been a series that allowed a lot of leeway in the design. The greatest experimentthat Brooker has put together so far is the interactive film Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. Brooker promises more changes for Black Mirror season 6.
As well as some of the more well-known Black Mirror tropes, we also have a few new elements this time around, including some I’ve sworn I’ve seen before would never build into the series […]. The stories are still quintessentially Black Mirror tonally – but with some daring and more variety than ever before.
In addition, Black Mirror season 6 already scores with one considerable cast. Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul, who recently stopped by in the sci-fi series Westworld, is the most notable newcomer. In addition, Netflix lists the following names for the cast of the new episodes:

When Black Mirror season 6 exactly launches on Netflix in June, is yet unknown. The streaming service traditionally publishes its major productions on Fridays. It remains to be seen whether this also applies to Black Mirror.
