Zlatan Ibrahimovic has injured himself again.
And now worries are growing in Italy for the 41-year-old.
“These are dark days for the Swede,” writes the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
This spring has been really hard for the Swedish attacking star Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In February, the 41-year-old returned to play again after his severe knee injury and long rehabilitation but then it didn’t take long for the next setback.

The chance that Zlatan will make it back before the end of the league on June 4 is seen as quite small. At the same time as several reports come to light that Milan have decided that there will be no extension of the Swede’s contract as they want to bet on younger strikers

Staying in Milan
Other information suggests that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will still remain in Milan. The Serie A club is considering giving the 41-year-old a role either in Stefano Piolis coaching staff or closer to the sports manager Paolo Maldini.
Zlatan’s family has also settled in Milan now and the son Maximilian Ibrahimovic already plays in Milan’s U17 team.
