They were presented as “two guys who just want to hang out” – now they’ve gone and won the whole club. Filip Lamprecht and Michel Tornéus surprised – and convinced – everyone!
— This is COMPLETELY incomprehensible! I’m so fucking happy, says Filip.
It started a bit shaky for the boys, but they impressed both the jury and their fellow contestants from day one. And they have become safer and safer in the kitchen as the program has progressed.
The champion of the technical back
That they would be in the final, however, was not a given – even for themselves.
— I never, never thought we would be able to make it to the final, says Philip Lamprecht.
The jury’s Johan Sörberg describes the boys as insecure in the kitchen at first. He says that Michel stood with his lists and that Filip was mostly messing around.
— But they have grown after each race and it is on the technical ones that they shine! They have taken most of them, he says.
Their accuracy and creativity took them all the way to the finals.
Gives to the Children’s Cancer Fund
The prize consists of receiving a pastry named after you at Taxinge Castle, where the recordings of the program take place, as well as SEK 50,000 to donate to a charity of your choice.
— We immediately agreed that we want to donate this money to the Children’s Cancer Fund. That’s where we both feel we’d rather put the money, says Filip Lamprecht.
The final was a raging story edged by a lot of stress. Charlotte russe and samosas are on the menu – and a real blast!
