Another server down is happening in Destiny 2 today. Bungie is trying to keep the rattletrap going so you can play Iron Banner this week. We’ll show you all the important times and patch notes in our overview and we’ll be there live.

What you need to know today: After the big mid-season update, this time Bungie is shutting down the servers for a smaller patch. As usual, he will try to fix some bugs and improve stability.

Update, 6:15 p.m.: Maintenance started 15 minutes ahead of schedule and is already starting to kick players. We will keep you informed as soon as the servers are available again. That would be at 7pm.

MeinMMO lists the downtimes and also known problems that are currently plaguing Guardians.

Maintenance on 04/25 – All times to the server down

These times are important today: As always, Bungie shared the exact times via Twitter. This time you have to do without Destiny 2 for 30 minutes. So you could go outside and touch the grass in the meantime.

Here is the exact maintenance schedule:

  • At 6:00 p.m. German time, maintenance work will start in the background on all platforms.
  • From 6:30 p.m. the servers will go offline and players will be automatically kicked from all activities.
  • Update 7.0.5.1 will be rolled out on all platforms during this time and can be downloaded.
  • Officially, the servers will be back online around 7:00 p.m.
  • However, the ongoing background maintenance will not end until 8:00 p.m. if everything goes smoothly. During this time you can already gamble again.
  • Important: Even if you have downloaded the update and are back in-game, you may experience connection issues until the end of maintenance at 8:00 p.m. You may also have to expect queues when logging in.

Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may not be properly accessible for a while after the update.

This changes with Hotfix 7.0.5.1 in Season 20

That brings the hotfix today: Bungie is continually working through the bug reports that have been reported since Lightfall launched.

MeinMMO lists problems that Bungie is already aware of. However, only the patch notes show what will be fixed.

  • Chests at the destination in the EDZ do not contain any rewards when opened.
  • Submitting a missing item from Loadouts via the Destiny API may cause some players to crash.
  • The Aspect of the String Hunter Binding Impact does not trigger some class ability mods.
  • The text for the seasonal reset of Guardian ranks incorrectly states that ranks 6 through 10 are ranks of Ascension, and players at those ranks will be reset to rank 5 at the end of the season. In fact, ranks 7 through 11 are promotion ranks, and players at these ranks will revert to rank 6 at the end of the season.
  • Patch Notes for Hotfix 7.0.5.1 in Destiny 2

What’s in the patch notes? Bungie publishes the comprehensive list of all changes to Hotfix 7.0.5.1 in the form of patch notes. However, they only appear tonight.

As soon as they are published, we will link them in this article, as this may change later.

If you have noticed other problems in the game that spoil your gaming experience, please leave a comment on MeinMMO. The more bugs are raised, the quicker they end up on Bungie’s to-do list.
