There is a scenario mode in the game and a battle mode that you can play with your friends. You can play the scenario mode with single player or with multiplayer up to four players if you wish. I have to say that as a single person I got bored in scenario mode.

When you play as a co-op with friends, “You gather resources. Let me strengthen the ‘base’. Let the other golem army gather and slap the piglins”, it became relatively more enjoyable for me. In the war mode, you can play with your friends against artificial intelligence, or you can fight against each other as two teams of four.

One detail I liked was that instead of using an invisible guide, they created three different characters that were included in the story. The other thing I liked was that they helped the actor in keeping with their names. However, since the base attacks are very repetitive in general, the diversity of the enemies alone does not overcome the gameplay.

Minecraft Legends also has a day and night cycle. At night the world is more dangerous and our villages and allies can be attacked. We can learn where the next attack will be made from the map and take precautions accordingly. When they attack at night, we have to resist for a while.

This resistance time increases as the game progresses. The increasing difficulty of defending the base has made the game more enjoyable, at least compared to base attacks. Of course, you do not stay idle during this time, make improvements to the well of destiny, expand your army, discover new defense and attack structures, and increase your resource limit. These were the features that reduced the feeling of boredom for me.

You can travel fast to the villages you have visited before, and if you build a well house, you can build a shortcut to that area. But let’s say you are at the enemy’s base and that night your base will be attacked. As in isometric real-time strategies, you cannot immediately look at the map and say to check. This is exactly why it does not appeal to players who want to play alone, or it offers a more responsible gameplay.

We can dismantle the structures that we build in the game. No problem for buildings such as arrow tower, carpenter’s hut. You can even get back the resource you spent when you disassemble it. However, when it comes to the wall, you build it wide and dismantle it every inch. I couldn’t find a solution to it.

In a strategy game, the field of view should not be closed in this way, even for a second. Let’s talk about multiplayer again. Although the number of people increases, the resource is collected jointly. While this shouldn’t be a problem when you play with friends, it can be a problem when you match up with people you don’t know.
