today at 20.23 Nelly Kronstrand

Police in Kenya have found 21 dead people who were all part of a cult where they were told to starve themselves to death to “meet Jesus”, reports South Sweden.

At least three of the dead must be children.

The police have in several rounds succeeded in digging up dead bodies from graves in a forest in the eastern part of the country.

– We haven’t even scratched the surface, and that is a clear indication that you can count on us finding more bodies, says one of the police officers, who wishes to remain anonymous.

The cult leader along with six accomplices have been arrested.
