Just like in the first final game last Saturday, Habo also won game two against Hylte/Halmstad, who before the final series had not lost during the season. In Tuesday evening’s final match, Habo won 3-1 in sets.
And the match on Tuesday night was historic in that it was Habo Wolley’s first SC final at home, where the attendance record was set. Around 1,000 people watched the match in the hall, where several also had to turn in the door when there was a note on the door.
– This is how every match should be and I think there will be even greater interest after this season, says Allan Bärenholdt, who founded Habo Wolley in 1987.
On Saturday, the third final match will be played in Halmstad, a win for Habo would mean their first SM gold in the club’s history. In the event of a loss, the final series returns to Habo and a fourth game.
