The month of March we left behind was almost a record for the automotive market in Turkey. In February, record figures were achieved above the averages of the last 10 years, and the performance in March increased by 57.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. The total number of 103,929 units focused on March 2023 is seen. While the share of automobiles in this total figure is 79,226, the share of light commercial vehicles is recorded as 24,703. The first quarter performance of the year was also finalized after the March chart was published. Demand continues to explode in Turkey, where 175,421 passenger cars were sold in a three-month period. The highest figures in this three-month period are respectively Fiat, Renault and names such as Peugeot and Volkswagen. With the introduction of commercial vehicles, Ford’s performance is in the top three.
