There was a big leak in Destiny 2 for Season 21. The leak allegedly came about because a Twitch streamer is said to have leaked secret internals from a confidential meeting. Screenshots were posted to a Discord server that were under a strict NDA. Streamer and YouTuber Ekuegan has been permanently banned from Destiny 2. He says he is innocent. Someone must have tricked him.

Who is this about? As revealed by Forbes, the “suspect” is Twitch streamer and YouTuber Ekuegan, known for completing 6,000 Grandmaster Nightfall runs.
He is considered to be an exceptionally strong player in PvE.
Bungie bans streamers and stops all cooperation
How does the streamer react: He says he was invited to the meeting as a “high-skill PvE player.” But he is not the leaker.
However, he is now banned from Destiny 2 and Bungie will no longer work with him. Bungie will not sue him for breaching the confidentiality agreement, but consider the matter “closed”.
The streamer says:
I signed so many non-disclosure agreements. Why should I break any? That’s part of my job. I’ve played 14,000 hours, spent so many hours making people grandmasters
Desktop icons are said to have betrayed streamers – He denies everything
How was he transferred? The streamer tells Forbes that Bungie told him their identity was determined from the icons on his desktop.
The streamer suspects someone may have fabricated this on purpose to implicate him and make him a scapegoat. He doesn’t know the Discord user who leaked it. But swears he never took any pictures.

How is Bungie reacting? Bungie has spoken of a breach of trust in statements. They are disappointed and threaten to restrict such events in the future.
The community manager speaks of a “breach of trust that hurts”. You don’t want to punish people, but you have no other choice.
At one point, her statement almost sounds like a mafia threat: Community Manager Liana Ruppert says she sees so many creators “lose their brands” because of a single decision. You have to respect confidentiality agreements.
Don’t show confidential information to anyone, no friend, no one, no matter how much you trust them. Bungie wants content creators to be successful.
That sounds like: “You have such a nice career there – it would be a shame if it broke.”
“Why should I do that?”
This is behind it: In fact, the motive is completely absent. The YouTuber has absolutely nothing to gain from anonymously leaking secret information in a Discord server – this does not give him any advantage. He makes no views, no money, nothing, but carries the risk of making himself impossible as a partner for all gaming companies, not just Bungie.
