Gunshots were heard in the town of Dadeville, Alabama, USA, at around 22:30 local time yesterday. The shooting occurred at a birthday party held at the Mahogany Masterpiece Dance Studio in town. In the statement made by the authorities, it was recorded that at least 4 people were killed and many others were injured in the incident. “This morning, I mourn with the people of Dadeville and my brothers and sisters from Alabama. Violent crime has no place in our state. We are being briefed by law enforcement as details emerge,” said Alabama state Governor Kay Ivey.
‘IT WILL AFFECT EVERYONE IN THE REGION’
Ben Hayes, the pastor of the Dadeville Police Department, stated that the students who lost their lives in the attack said, “I know most of these students. Dadeville is a small town and this incident will affect everyone in the region.”
