It’s not often that you see cast members fully nude on Netflix. This is exactly what the new erotic series Obsession shows, for which fantasy star Richard Armitage (The Hobbit trilogy) dropped all covers. And he’s excited.

The feeling was very liberating, Armitage explained to Hello Magazine. Acquaintances had previously expressed concerns. “Many try to warn you. […] But I thought: That’s okay. I go there like a European. […] They’re more relaxed.“
He has already swung enough swords on film in his life and distributed punches, according to the actor. On the other hand, he found the experience of being guided on set by an intimacy coordinator (a person in charge of intimate scenes) to be exciting.
Obsession revolves around a family man (Armitage) who begins an affair with his son’s fiancee. The increasingly extreme desire for the young woman drags his whole life into a destructive abyss.
