The government has decided to commission Stockholm University to organize the entrance exams. Concretely, this means being responsible for premises, carrying out ID checks and passing on the results.
“This is an act of solidarity with Ukraine’s universities during the ongoing invasion. After the war, educated Ukrainians will be crucial in rebuilding what Russia destroyed”, comments Education Minister Mats Persson (L).
Due to the war, Ukrainian higher education institutions have greatly expanded the possibility of distance learning and online courses.
Also last year, Ukrainian citizens could write the entrance exam at Stockholm University. About 160 people took the test, according to the university.
