With the GeForce RTX 4070, Nvidia recently released a new graphics card for WQHD gaming. The first custom models are already below the recommended retail price (RRP) of 659 euros.

The OC version of the card with factory overclocking is also available there for 10 euros more, but Galaxus is currently a little cheaper at 652.89 euros thanks to free shipping.
The currently second cheapest model in the form of the Palit Dual for 639 euros with 8.99 euros shipping costs are meanwhile available at Mindfactory at the cheapest price.

Basically, the new card cuts a very good figure, especially with regard to its efficient, quiet operation and the FPS boost per frame generation – if it is supported by the game of your choice.
If 649 euros is not too much for a graphics card and if you don’t yet own a fast model of the RTX 3000 or RX 6000 generation (or newer), you can strike – or wait and see what AMD does.
