SAVE LISA M6. Victoria Abril and Caroline Anglade star in M6’s latest series, Save Lisa, which deals with child abuse and motherhood more broadly. Is it the adaptation of a true story?
[Mis à jour le 16 novembre 2021 à 20h30] Saving Lisa is M6’s latest miniseries to tackle a serious social subject: child abuse, but also questions motherhood. Despite the sensitivity of the subject and the plot which seems to have accents of very real news items, the series is not however inspired by a true story, as one might think when viewing it. It is however the adaptation of the Japanese soap opera Mother, broadcast in 2010, which subsequently inspired several remakes.
In the casting, Sauver Lisa brings together Cristiana Reali, Caroline Anglade, Déborah François, Victoria Abril, Flore Bonaventura and Claudia Bacos. In the role of Lisa, the public will discover the acting performance of the young Capucine Sainson-Fabresse. Save Lisa is a mini-series in six episodes to be discovered on M6 every Tuesday evening until November 30, 2021.
