A 23-year-old man who threw the British king Charles with eggs in November, has been found guilty of threatening behavior. This is reported by the Reuters news agency.

The man was sentenced to one hundred hours of community service. He also has to pay costs of 714 pounds (about 800 euros).

The incident happened when King Charles and the Queen Consort Camilla were visiting York. Charles was shaking hands with people when a man started throwing eggs at him.
