A 21-year-old man has been arrested, suspected of being behind the extensive Pentagon leak. This is announced by US Attorney General Merrick Garland.
The man was arrested by federal police on Thursday and will be arraigned in a Boston court, Garland said.
The 21-year-old is said to have been part of the airborne part of the Massachusetts National Guard and worked with intelligence tasks.
The leaked information is, among other things, about the Ukrainian military’s plans for a spring offensive.
