The super talent can now get the chance already in this year’s hockey WC.
– There is a chance, says TSN profile Darren Dreger.

Play the Hockey World Cup
There is now speculation in the North American media that the 17-year-old may be selected for Canada’s A national team and make his championship debut in a senior context in the upcoming hockey World Cup. Because even McDavid didn’t get to play in the World Cup in his draft year.
– There is a chance, but it feels quite small right now. The Canadian Federation is very grateful for everything Connor Bedard has done for the country so far and if you look back at his last year and what he has been through, he was in the JVM last summer and he was in the JVM in December-January, says TSN- the insider Darren Dreger in a statement.

There is certainly a possibility and Bedard’s name will be discussed in connection with Canada’s World Cup squad selection. But according to TSN, it probably won’t come up, in that case it would be a bomb that would really shake the hockey world.
– The Canadian Federation would have loved for Connor Bedard to play at the Men’s World Cup, but they also need to give him some breathing room. He might need a break. But they will take up this topic later, Dreger states for TSN.
