Connor Sturgeon, himself an employee of the bank, pulled out a rifle and shot several of his co-workers before he himself was shot dead by police. Five people, including the perpetrator, died on the spot and nine people were injured and taken to hospital. One of the injured, a 57-year-old woman, later died of her injuries.
