Tintin, 8, was found dead in an apartment in Luleå. Now the boy’s father admits that he murdered his son. – He will submit to responsibility for murder, says lawyer Marcus Lodin. In several investigations, eight-year-old Tintin had told that he was afraid of his father, whom he had to meet despite the fear. On Sunday, January 8, Tintin was found dead after spending time with his father. Tintin was found in an apartment after his mother became concerned and contacted the police. The father, who is 45 years old, was arrested on suspicion of murder and was charged on suspicion of the same crime last week. On Tuesday morning, lawyer Marcus Lodin announces that the man now confesses to murder. “Leaves no other way out” “My client now admits to the act of which he is suspected and will submit to responsibility for murder,” writes Marcus Lodin to TV4 Nyheterna. “He hasn’t really changed his mind regarding the act itself. What he has told in police interviews leaves no other way out than that he himself is the perpetrator. The fact that he now chooses to confess to crime is therefore only a correct and reasonable legal rewriting of his confession of the deed”. Will tell you why the 45-year-old’s lawyer writes that Tintin’s father will give his account of the reasons behind the murder during the trial. He also writes that the father is not feeling well, after what happened. “Of course he is not well. He has lost his son and has caused it himself.” Since Tintin was found dead, several demonstrations have been held in several places around the country, with the call to change the law regarding custody of, and contact with, children. After the incident, the children’s ombudsman, Elisabeth Dahlin, said that she wants to see a change in the law that, among other things, gives children their own representative in legal proceedings. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) has also opened up for a new law change. In player above: GW on fathers murdering their children: ‘Hard to prevent’
