The Super Mario Bros. Movie is currently one of the biggest movies of the year in cinemas. The Animated Nintendo film adaptation was able to post impressive figures in the first week and there is still no end in sight to the success story. As Super Mario Bros. smashes box office records, one question for many fans is: where does the story continue?

Super Mario 2 has not yet been officially confirmed. Starting from that outstanding start weekend the announcement should only be a mere formality. Last but not least, at the end of Part 1, the future of the Super Mario series is teased. Bowser spokesman Jack Black was also asked about this future. In an interview with Game Spot, he talks about his potential return as an opponent.

Pascal and Black recently appeared together in front of the camera. In the 6th episode of the 3rd season of The Mandalorian, Black has a small supporting role.
The Super Mario Bros. movie has been running since April 5, 2023 in German cinemas. We expect part 2 to be announced shortly. And who knows, maybe we’ll actually hear Pascal play Wario in it. That would be a great casting coup for the sequel to the hit animation.
