Dangerous bottles thrown at property
Unknown persons have thrown bottles of chemicals at a property in Uddevalla.
The bottles must have contained a mixture with, among other things, cleaning agents that are considered dangerous, as the mixture can be explosive and also harmful to the skin and eyes.
The site has been cordoned off and the bottles have been checked.
The incident is being investigated as public destruction and a violation of the Explosive Goods Act.

Despite the review, the auditors did not raise the alarm about Silicon Valley Bank
Two weeks before the massive banking crash, auditors audited Silicon Valley Bank – and gave the bank the green light, the Wall Street Journal reports.
It was the international audit giant KPMG who, for unclear reasons, chose not to raise the alarm about the bank’s impending crisis.
KPMG has not yet commented on the data.
It was at the beginning of March that three banks went under in the US, including Silicon Valley Bank. The collapse led to a multi-billion dollar loss for the Swedish occupational pension company Alecta.
The leak: US skepticism towards Ukrainian counter-offensive
US intelligence believes it may be difficult for Ukraine to retake Russian-occupied territories in a counter-offensive this spring. It shows documents in the famous Pentagon leak, reports the Washington Post.

Young man arrested after fire
A young man was arrested during the night of Tuesday on suspicion of aggravated arson at an HVB home outside Kungsör.
Emergency services and police were called to the home due to a fire and when they arrived, a front porch was fully engulfed in flames, police said.
No one was injured and the fire was quickly contained to the building’s entrance. The site is cordoned off for technical examination. (TT)
Wanted to sell weapons to Russia – behind the US’s back
Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi recently ordered the country to produce 40,000 rockets to Russia. They were to be manufactured and shipped secretly to “not cause problems with the West”, writes the Washington Post citing a classified document dated February 17th and included in the Great Pentagon leak.
Egypt is one of the United States’ closest allies in the Middle East and one of the largest recipients of American aid, according to the newspaper.
Egypt was included when Putin recently listed six countries considered to be Russia’s best friends.
False alarm about an explosion – was a minor fire
Police, ambulance and rescue services were alerted shortly before 03:00 to Ekeby in the municipality of Bjuv in northwestern Scania.
On site, the alarm information about a suspected explosion turned out to be incorrect.
– It was a small fire in a type of residential building, says Manuel Jovali at the Helsingborg police to HD.
There are no reports of personal injuries.
Biden blows off covid emergency
President Joe Biden has signed a law ending the national emergency imposed in the United States as a result of the pandemic. It may affect the infected border issue in the country.

Suspected sexual offense – area cordoned off
A suspected sexual crime has occurred outdoors in Malmö, the police write on their website.
An area has been cordoned off and a technical investigation is underway with a special search dog.
The police are otherwise tight-lipped about the incident and will not provide any further information during the evening and night.
Two dead in collision between truck and car

A truck and a car collided head-on on national highway 30 outside Vaggeryd on Monday evening. Both drivers died in the accident, which the police described as a “senselessly violent collision”.

Netanyahu reverses the defense minister

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announces that fired Defense Minister Yoav Gallant will now get his job back, SVT reports with reference to a press conference that took place today.
It was in late March that Netanyahu fired the minister after he criticized the Israeli government for trying to change the mandate of the Supreme Court. Something that created massive protests all over the country.
– Gallant will remain in his post and continue to defend Israeli citizens, Netanyahu said at the press conference, according to SVT.
The Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid has previously demanded that Netanyahu take back the decision on the dismissal of the minister.
US Government: Stop Ban on Abortion Pills

The US Department of Justice has asked an appeals court to halt a federal decision in Texas to ban a widely used abortion pill, NTB reports.
– The district court’s extraordinary judgment, which is unprecedented, must be postponed pending an appeal, says the department in a statement.
On Friday, a Texas judge struck down the ban on the drug Mifepristone, which is commonly used to perform a medical abortion.
Boy under 15 robbed
A boy under the age of 15 has been robbed by three masked criminals outside at Fågelbacken in Malmö.
The alarm came in at 19.50 and the police were called to the scene.
According to the police, the perpetrators must have forced the boy’s mobile phone.
The boy is said to have managed without physical injuries, according to the police.
No one has been arrested.
