Transport truck driver facing loads Police

The driver of a fully-loaded transport truck is facing impaired driving charges after being stopped by police in Haldimand County on Sunday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police stopped the vehicle on Haldimand Road 55 at just before 10 am

Haldimand OPP say in addition to the impaired driving charges — blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) – a 62-year-old Hamilton man has also been charged with driving a commercial vehicle or drawn vehicle with a major defect, driving without a current validated permit , and having a dirty license plate.

The accused with appear in court in Cayuga at a later date.
