In the dawn light around 6:30 a.m. UT, spot a very thin lunar crescent flush with the southeast horizon. Only 1.65% of its surface will be illuminated by the Sun.
Above it, slightly to the right, you will find the planet Mars, easily recognizable by its color Red.
Low on the horizon, a clear site is necessary to make the most of this observation.
