Risk of grass fires this weekend
Right now there is a risk of grass fires in several places in Sweden, reports Echo.
SMHI has issued a notice about the risk of grass fire. It mainly applies Sunday afternoon until 6 pm in snow-free parts of Götaland and southern Svealand.
But it’s important to keep an eye on it – the weather can change quickly and then there can be more areas of risk.
– You have to be careful if you are going to make a fire outdoors, says Sofia Söderberg, meteorologist at SMHI, to the radio.

Done with new government in Estonia

There will be a coalition government in Estonia.
The liberal Reform Party, led by Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, became the largest party by a good margin in the election on March 5.
After tough negotiations, it is now clear that they will form a government with the relatively newly formed center party Estonia 200 and the current cooperation partner the Social Democrats, TT reports.
– This agreement ensures that Estonia is protected, that we can continue as an independent and self-sufficient country, says Kallas at a press conference.
Defense and security are at the top of the new government’s agenda, with Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine.

The Ringhals 4 reactor is now back in full operation after many delays.
Anna Wallrud, deputy press manager at Ringhals, tells TT that the effect has increased during the day and is now in full production.
The restart of the reactor, which has been idle since last August, has already been postponed several times due to advanced repair work.
Further robberies against pharmacies
There was an attempted robbery against a pharmacy in Malmö during Saturday evening.
The staff were threatened with a sharp object to hand out medicine.

One to hospital after accident
A person has been taken to hospital by ambulance after a traffic accident on the E12 in Tärnaby.
The accident occurred between a snowmobile and a car.
The extent of the damage is unclear.
The police have made a report about carelessness in traffic.
The alarm came in at 6:39 p.m.
Traffic is affected after the fire
There has been a fire in a preschool in Enebyberg north of Stockholm.
The fire affects traffic, which has currently been restricted. The fire service has the fire under control.
A preliminary investigation into arson has been launched.

New poison attacks on schoolgirls in Iran
Many schoolgirls have been poisoned at schools in Iran on Saturday, writes TT and refers to local media.
Among other things, at least 60 students are said to have been poisoned at one and the same girls’ school in the western province of Khuzestan.
Reports of poisoned students also come from the city of Ardabil in the northwest and from Urmia in the same country.

Boy rescued from cliff in Norway
The police in Suldal, Norway launched a major rescue operation after a minor boy went off-piste in the ski resort of Gullingen.
The boy, who is 15 years old, was stuck on a rock ledge, writes the police in Sør-Vest on Twitter.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., the police announced that the boy had been brought down to a mountain cabin.
Motorcyclist in serious single accident
Police and ambulance are currently on site on road 625 between Lilla Edet and Kungälv after a serious traffic accident.
According to information to Aftonbladet, it must be a motorcyclist who drove off the road.
The police currently have no information on the state of the damage.

Details: Shot man armed with chainsaw
The man in his 30s who was shot by a police officer in Karlskrona was armed with an ax and chainsaw, reports SVT Nyheter Blekinge.
The incident occurred on the night of Friday and the man had broken into a home and broken windows.
According to SVT, the background was an infected neighbor dispute.
When the police arrived at the scene, what they believe was a threatening situation arose. The man then allegedly had a chainsaw in his hand.
The incident is classified as attempted murder.
Arrested for caravan murder released at large
A woman was found dead in a caravan in the municipality of Mellerud on Good Friday.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and later arrested.
During the Saturday afternoon, the police announced that the man has been released, reports P4 West.
– He was released at 2:30 p.m. pending the forensic examination that comes next week. But the suspicions against the man remain, says police spokesperson Thomas Fuxborg SVT News West.
According to the police, it is still unclear whether a crime has been committed. The man was in the caravan when the police got there and must have had difficulty explaining what happened.
Alert about crazy trips on E4
During the morning, the police received several calls about cars driving at very high speed on the E4 south through Östergötland, something that Corren was the first to report.
The crazy trips must have been broadcast live on Tiktok. Police patrols are in place on the stretch and have managed to stop one of the motorists.
Some must have stopped and met their needs on the road in connection with queues that had formed.
– Some who did not understand that there will be queues may have thought too much and then they took the opportunity to stop and pee, which we think is extremely inappropriate, says Johnny Gustafsson to Aftonbladet.
