In Farmer seeks a wife – Casting 2023, we get to know seven farmers who hope to find love. One who hopes to receive many letters is Daniel, 48 years old, sheep and meat farmer, from Västra Löa. He would have been on the show 10 years ago. But health put an end to the plans.
– I noticed that my heart was broken when I was going to play hockey with my friends. I couldn’t take as much as they did.
He went to the doctor who discovered that his heart had become too big.
– The carotid artery that is connected to the heart was about to burst. There were quick jerks! It was a flap that was broken
The heart stood still
The situation was serious and he was quickly operated on. The heart stopped for a while during the operation and he had to lie on a ventilator. Life took a break when he was forced to recover from surgery.
Today, Daniel feels well and has gained perspective on life.
– I have been given a second chance.
Now he is ready to meet the right one, a woman with a sense of humor.
– What catches my interest is when she is driven, positive, happy and a bit mischievous.
Longing for the right one
He feels ready to have a family but it is not a must. He can also imagine bonus children.
– You long for a lot of footprints in the snow and for someone to sit on the bridge and measure with.
Daniel has bought a new farm that has been idle for a hundred years. Now he hopes for life and movement.
– I might be the first not to receive a single letter, he jokes.
