(Finance) – Energizea company active in the development of renewable energy projects and listed on Euronext Growth Milan, ha signed with Edison Renewables (leading operator in Italy in renewable production) a term sheet for a new five-year agreement aimed at the development, by Renergetica itself, of photovoltaic plant projects, for a maximum of 500 MWp, on the Italian territory. The agreement aims to overcome the framework agreement signed on April 6, 2020, considerably expanding the MWp of the projects that can be allocated to Edison and extending their overall duration.
At the same time, Renergetica announced that it had sold its vehicle company to Edison Renewablesholder of the single authorization for the construction of a plant photovoltaic in the province of Alessandria with a power of 6.21 MWp. This operation therefore brings the number of authorized plants already sold by Renergetica to Edison to 4, which will oversee their construction and future use.
“The agreement reached does not only represent the natural continuation of the now consolidated multi-year partnership with Edison but, given the new five-year duration and the extent of the MWp that may be included in the agreement, reconfirms Renergetica as leader at the national level in the development of renewable source plants and demonstrates its significant growth in the Italian market “, he commented Stefano Giusto, managing director of Renergetica.
