And according to the Washington Post, the Justice Department says it has new evidence of possible obstruction by the president, who knowingly tried to conceal documents.
The investigation focuses on what happened after Donald Trump received the subpoena asking him to return all classified documents. The objective is to see if at that time there was an attempt to obstruct the former president.
According to the sources of washington post, federal investigators have new evidence that boxes containing some of these documents were then removed from a Mar-a-Lago warehouse. Donald Trump personally reviewed some of them at home, “ because apparently he wanted to keep » part of their content.
The investigators are based on testimonies, images from surveillance cameras, but also emails and text messages from one of his former advisers, who had followed him after his departure from the White House.

Always according to washington post, investigators have evidence that Donald Trump, before receiving the subpoena, asked his advisers and lawyers to write false testimony claiming that he returned all the documents. He also reportedly questioned lawyers on how to keep some of them, after his team told him that was not possible.
